Shelvanta: a safe Claude Code setup, demonstrated

Shelvanta is a made-up Python inventory tool. Nercari added a Claude Code setup to it: a CLAUDE.md with project rules, scoped permissions, safety hooks and MCP config.

Measured results (demo runs, reproducible)

• All 11 setup checks pass.
• Without the setup, both risky requests changed protected files (secrets file, database migrations). With it, neither did.
• Normal edits still went through.
